Homes Affairs Minister Edgar Lungu says plans to replace the current National Registration Cards (NRCs) with digitalized ones are on course.
Mr. Lungu says government has targeted October this year to complete whole process leading to issuance of digital NRCs.
Mr. Lungu has told Qfm in an interview that his Ministry will however issue a comprehensive statement on the progress made on the digitalization of the National Registrations Cards.
The digitalized NRCs that will have among other details the holder’s educational qualifications, embedded in them, will be rolled out first in Lusaka, Chongwe, Chilanga and Kafue districts.
