Home affairs deputy minister Nickson Chilangwa has maintained that law enforcement agencies will not hesitate to pounce on churches that are hosting illegal immigrants.
Mr. Chilangwa has told QFM News in an interview that keeping illegal immigrants is a serious offence and people should be ready for law to do its work.
Mr. Chilangwa has also stated that it is important for all churches and well meaning citizens to be alert and report any case of illegal immigrants to the police.
He stresses that people should be honest by having the required documents from the immigration department without any delay.
He has since stated that the exercise will continue and until a good clean of illegal immigrants is thoroughly done throughout the country.
